Cardiff based rock outfit GODSTICKS have announced their new album in fine fashion with their new single, Denigrate. A four minute romp full of aggressive, angular riffs and prog-laced interludes, the track comes alongside the announcement of their new album, Inescapable, set to be released on February 7 on Kscope Records.

The album is available to pre-order now via Burning Shed, accompanied by a bonus CD that includes a brand new song and two acoustic renditions of Breathe and Surrender. The band’s sound has developed over their tenure on Kscope Records, and they’ve “channelled their energy and technical ability into the melody, phrasing and vocal performance, allowing emotion to take centre stage.”

The band reveal their first single is “sort of analysis of my ongoing battle with perfectionism and the general feeling that nothing you do ever meets the impossibly high standards you set for yourself”. It also features guest vocals from TesseracT’s Daniel Tompkins.

The album was produced by James Loughrey of Skindred fame and recorded at Monnow Valley studio.
