Guitar.com Live: Joining us from his home for Guitar.com Live, one of the most admired and respected guitar players on the planet, Mark Tremonti, discussed the impact Covid-19 had on their tour in support of Walk The Sky, recording in quarantine and Walk The Sky 2.0.

“We were just beginning the touring cycle on this album… it’s a real shame as it’s the first number one album we’ve had, everything was on the up and up then suddenly everything just got derailed,” he reveals.

Elsewhere, Tremonti discusses his signature PRS MT-15 head, and the detailed inspiration behind it. “The MT-15 is my favourite amp,” Tremonti enthuses. “Like I said about my guitars, I don’t push them because they have my name on it, I do it because it’s my favourite.”

“The same with the MT-15, it’s my favourite amp to plug into when I’m at home. It’s a 15 watt amp that sounds like a 50-watt amp! You can get great response at a low volume, the clean tones are amazing… everything about it. It’s been hard for me to find an amp that does the big, chunky speed metal stuff and also has a great lead tone.”
