Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant is about to launch Digging Deep, a podcast series that looks back on his storied musical journey.

The series, helmed by music journalist Matt Everitt, will reportedly reveal the moments, people and locales that have inspired the frontman’s prized catalogue of tunes. Each podcast is expected to delve into tracks hand-picked by Plant. These include selections from Led Zeppelin, his solo records as well as his collaborations.

Plant explained the podcasts’ arc in a statement: “I am going to be picking out some songs from here and there along the way, mixing constant shifts in sound and intention from across this long old time”.

The series commences on 3 June, with new episodes dropping fortnightly until the end of August. Digging Deep will be available for streaming on Apple, Spotify, Deezer and YouTube.
