Jeff Rosenstock has released a music video for his previously-released song Scram!.
Scram! is taken from Rosenstock’s latest LP NO DREAM, which came out as a surprise release back in May.
Take a look at the video below.
The clip was produced by anonymous meme creator Teenage Stepdad, a collaboration which Rosenstock teased with a still on his Instagram page:
Teenage Stepdad specialises in surreal, satirical and left-leaning pastiches of retro adverts, a theme retained for Scram!’s music video. Rosenstock appears in the local-access themed clip alongside his long-serving backing band, Death Rosenstock. The band is composed of bassist John DeDomenici, drummer Kevin Higuchi, multi-instrumentalist Dan Potthast and guitarist Mike Huguenor.
If you look closely, you can also see that the video was filmed during lockdown, with everyone involved filming and submitting their parts remotely.
The video marks Rosenstock’s first video in almost exactly two years, following 2018’s All This Useless Energy
