A clip of John Fogerty performing Fortunate Son live at Red Rocks 2019 has been released. You can watch it above.

The clip is taken from 50 Year Trip: Live at Red Rocks, an upcoming live album and concert film featuring the Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman’s full Red Rocks performance.

Fogerty formed Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1967, and would serve as the band’s primary songwriter and frontman. Their hits, alongside Fortunate Son, included Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, and Down on the Corner. Despite their success, the band would break up in 1972, and have rarely played together since. Fogerty was initially hesitant about performing Creedence Clearwater Revival Material live, but in 1987 began to play their hits again.

The concert film will be screened in the US, on 11 November (Veteran’s Day) in cinemas across the country.
