Musicians Rachel Bobbit and Justice Der have released their collaborative album When This Plane Goes Down…, available to stream now. Take a listen below:

Der provides guitar on the album, with his understated playing complimenting Bobbit’s soulful vocal harmonies. The relaxed vibe of the album is all soaked in a feeling of nostalgia – something also present in the title, which, as the duo say, draws on the feeling of frequently flying home. “The experience of converging and diverging with other passengers for a brief but concentrated period of time served as an inspiration for a larger concept. Having a connection and moment with a person or experience in life can easily be compared to the experience of meeting someone on a plane trip. They can come into your life and then leave it for a long time.”

The record features Stephen Bennet on drums, and was recorded and produced by Der. Both musicians have released solo EPs, Months to Fall by Bobbitt and Nostalgic For Things to Come by Der.
