Ringo Starr has released two songs from his upcoming album, What’s My Name. The first is a cover of John Lennon’s Grow Old With Me, one of the last songs John Lennon would write. The version notably features Paul McCartney on bass, as well as providing backing vocals. The guitar parts are played by the Eagles’ Joe Walsh.

The second is the title track of What’s My Name – riffing on a frequent chant at Starr’s live shows. The song features Toto founding member Steve Lukather on guitar. Listen to the two tracks below:

What’s My Name will be released on 25 October this year, and features a long list of notable collaborators, a lot of whom are returning members of the All-Starr Band.
