Today (22 April), Madison Cunningham will perform on Whiskey Sour Happy Hour, a weekly live streamed show organised by The Bluegrass Situation and Ed Helms. The 4-episode series – which airs on Wednesdays – raises money for MusiCare’s COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Fans can tune in at 7pm CT to watch Cunningham’s set on The Bluegrass Situations’ Facebook page.

At this year’s Grammy Awards, Cunningham was recognised for her debut album, Who Are You Now, receiving a nomination for Best Americana Album. The record was released last through Verve Forecast Records.

Cunningham was scheduled to open on several dates of Mandy Moore’s spring tour this year, though those shows have since been postponed due to COVID-19. Moore’s tour was to kick off in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 20 March this year.

Despite this, the singer-songwriter is still slated to open for Harry Styles at his series of “Harryween” shows in Madison Square Garden. Those shows are scheduled to kick off later this year on 30 October.

During these weeks of self-isolation, Cunningham – like most musicians – has been keeping off tours and live shows. Instead, she keeps herself busy with a number of live streamed performances. Following her appearance on Whiskey Sour Happy Hour, she’s scheduled to perform at Fender Next x Bandsintown Live on 2 May, which streams on Twitch.
