Watch Mandy Moore and Phoebe Bridgers covering The Beatles

The pair collaborated at LA’s Bootleg Theatre.

Mandy Moore and Phoebe Bridgers have collaborated on a tender cover of The Beatles With A Little Help From My Friends – you can see the performance above. Fittingly enough, the pair were joined on stage by various musical collaborators (including Moore’s husband, Taylor Goldsmith, as well as Jackson Browne, Harrison Whitford, Mike Viola and more) for the cover.

The performance happened at one of Moore’s weekly residencies at the Bootleg Theatre in LA, which she has been hosting ahead of the release of her album Silver Landings. The LP, set to be released 6 March of this year, is Moore’s first album release in over a decade, with her last (Amanda Leigh) being released in 2009.

Phoebe Bridger’s latest release came from her project Better Oblivion Community Center, with the band’s self-titled debut coming out last year. The band is a collaboration with musician Conor Oberst, with whom Bridgers collaborated with on her 2017 record Stranger in the Alps.

Read our interview with Phoebe here, where she talks sparkly baritones, recording independently and dealing with difficult guitar salespeople.
