My Bloody Valentine’s music comes to streaming, albums to get “fully analogue” vinyl reissues
The band have signed with the Domino Recording Company.

My Bloody Valentine have announced that, for the first time ever, their entire catalogue will be available for streaming. On top of that, analogue remasters of the group’s studio albums will arrive later this May.
The remastered cuts of studio albums Isn’t Anything, loveless, m b v and compilation ep’s 1988-1991 and rare tracks are “fully analogue masters,” according to a press release. All four records arrive in Deluxe and Standard formats on 21 May and can be pre-ordered starting today (31 March).
My Bloody Valentine have also signed a fresh deal with the Domino Recording Company, the UK-based indie label which counts the Arctic Monkeys, Superorganism and Real Estate as part of its artist roster.
On Monday (29 March), the Irish-English band teased the news by releasing a cryptic 15-second clip to Twitter. Its colourful visuals alluded to the artwork of the group’s past records, leading fans to speculate their arrival on streaming platforms. Some fans even guessed that special physical reissues were being planned. Now, both those rumours have been confirmed.

While the news should come as a welcome surprise to fans of the group, many are still patiently awaiting new material from the pioneering shoegaze quartet.
My Bloody Valentine mastermind Kevin Shields told Pitchfork in 2013 that he was planning “an EP of all-new material”.
By 2018 however, the EP had seemed to turn into two EPs, according to Shields in an interview with NPR from the time.
“It’s really an EP but it’s a sprawling EP. I’m going to do a couple of them before I do an album,” he said. “I just want to mix it up a bit and get away from my ‘every 20 years and make an album and then tour and disappear for five years.’”
