Melvins frontman King Buzzo and Mr Bungle bassist Trevor Dunn have released Delayed Clarity, the latest single from their upcoming collaboration Gift Of Sacrifice.

The song is foreboding, drenched in acoustic atmosphere, and clocks in at a healthy six and a half minutes. Take a listen below.

The single will, according to a post on Facebook, be the last released from the album before the entire record drops on 14 August. The duo initially intended to release the record in May, but the coronavirus pandemic prompted a change of plans.

Check out "Delayed Clarity," the final preview from Buzz's upcoming album, Gift of Sacrifice (Aug. 14, Ipecac Recordings).

In June, Mr. Bungle, for whom Trevor Dunn plays bass, shared their rendition of The Exploited’s track USA. The song, the band’s first new studio material in over 20 years, was released with all profits going to MusiCares’ COVID-19 Relief Fund, alongside the band’s merch sales from that month.
