As part of their ongoing Metallica Mondays series, Metallica have shared a concert from 2015 that bassist Robert Trujillo says has “one of the best setlists ever.”

The band joined many other artists last month in starting a weekly album stream, keeping the live music experience alive throughout this strange period. Their first upload was a film of their 2019 Slane Castle, Ireland show.

This week, the show is from a 2015 gig in Munich, Germany. Bassist Robert Trujillo introduced the clip, saying: “I’m here to introduce a very important show from our past … this show is incredible, because I see here that we played Metal Militia, which is a rarity, we played King Nothing, which we don’t play very often, Disposable Heroes which is like my favourite Metallica song ever. We played Lords of Summer for the first time, and get this – we played Frayed Ends of Sanity in its entirety.”

Take a look at the concert Trujillo enthuses about below:

Trujillo concluded his introduction by saying: “the setlist is incredible – it’s one of the best setlists ever. This night was just filled with surprises. You’ve got to watch this show just to watch Lars Ulrich with his mouth open because that’s always a treat!”
