Mick Fleetwood has confirmed the lineup for his tribute concert for Peter Green. The concert will happen on 25 February 2020, and will celebrate Peter Green’s music – especially his contribution to early Fleetwood Mac.

The concert’s lineup so far includes Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Jonny Lang, Andy Fairweather Low, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Zak Starkey, Steven Tyler and Bill Wyman.

Mick Fleetwood said of the gig, “the concert is a celebration of those early blues days where we all began, and it’s important to recognize the profound impact Peter and the early Fleetwood Mac had on the world of music. Peter was my greatest mentor and it gives me such joy to pay tribute to his incredible talent. I am honoured to be sharing the stage with some of the many artists Peter has inspired over the years and who share my great respect for this remarkable musician. ‘Then Play On’…”

Peter Green, who was part of the founding lineup of Fleetwood Mac, would go on to influence countless players with his soulful blues playing and guitar-tone innovations.

The concert will take place in the London Palladium. Tickets go on sale later this week, with pre-sale tickets going on sale on Wednesday 13 November before general sale tickets on Friday 15 November.
