Motörhead have released never-before-seen footage of a 1979 performance of Bomber to tease their upcoming 1979 box set.

The video, captured at a gig in Le Mans, France, sees the classic line up of frontman Lemmy Kilmister, guitarist Eddie Clark and drummer Phil Taylor at their pulsating best. This rendition of Bomber will feature in the band’s 1979 box set, which also comes with reissues of the Overkill and Bomber LPs – pressed on 180-gram vinyl – and two double-live albums featuring previously unheard recordings from the band’s 1979 tours.

On top of B-sides and outtakes, the box set also includes a 40-page magazine – with unseen photos and new interviews – an Overkill sheet music book, as well as a program replica from the Bomber tour.

Besides the 1979 box set, Motörhead is also making Overkill and Bomber available as individual deluxe editions in two-CD and triple-LP formats. These come with new remasters, additional live material as well as a hardbound book filled with memorabilia.

The 1979 box set, 2CDs and 3LPs arrive on 25 October. For pricing and pre-order details, head over to motorhead79.com.
