Neil Young announces brand-new EP, The Times

Neil Young has announced a new EP, entitled The Times. The release will be streaming on Amazon Music HD exclusively, starting from 18 September.

The announcement follows the release of Young’s cover of The Times, They Are A-Changin’, which is – as the name suggests – part of the EP, and already available on Amazon Music ahead of its release. The EP also includes Young’s 2020 version of Lookin’ For A Leader.

Young said of the choice of platform: “I’m on Amazon Music because no one delivers better sound to the masses.”

Young worked with Niko Bolas to prepare the recordings – made as part of his Porch Sessions – for an official release, ensuring that each song was presented in quality fit for the Ultra-HD platform. The EP is delivered via FLAC, a lossless audio format.
