Yesterday (29 April), Noel Gallagher shared a demo of an unpublished Oasis song, entitled Don’t Stop. The song was first available as a rough demo recorded during one of the band’s soundchecks, for a concert in Hong Kong, however the version Noel has unearthed is a studio recording. Take a listen below:

In an Instagram post, Gallagher revealed that he unearthed the demo while going through “hundreds of faceless unmarked CD’s [he had] lying around in boxes”. He wrote:

“as fate would have it I have stumbled across an old demo which I thought had been lost forever. As far as I’m aware there is only one version of this tune ‘out there’ from an Oasis soundcheck in Hong Kong about 15 years ago?”

Former Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher, responded to the song’s release by taking to Twitter to address his older brother, and former bandmate. He wrote: “Oi tofu boy if your gonna release old demos make sure im singing on it and boneheads playing guitar on it if not it’s not worth a wank as you were LG x”.

Last month, Liam Gallagher proposed the idea of a post-coronavirus Oasis reunion for charity, to his older brother over Twitter.
