Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have released a new single, Wandering Star. You can listen above.
The song is taken from the EP Blue Moon Rising, which will arrive 6 March 2020. It features a mellow, echo-soaked vocal line along with some almost seasonal bells.
The EP is the third in a row from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, following This is The Place and Black Star Dancing, both released earlier this year. It features five tracks, two of which are remixes of the EP’s title number.
Noel Gallagher said of Wandering Star: “It was written in Abbey Road last November on the same day I wrote Black Star Dancing. It’s that good, it sounds like it took 5.4 people to come up with it. It’s already a live standard and we haven’t even played it yet.”
