Orange Amplification has announced the Crest Edition wireless headphones, bringing its experience in audio engineering closer to your ears than ever.

Some features include 27-hour battery life, on-headphone volume and playback controls, the option for wireless or wired use, a built-in microphone for calls as well as support for Google Assistant and Siri.

The playback controls take the form of a touchpad on the side of the units, allowing you to play, pause, fastword and rewind, and change volume levels. Aside from this, there’s also two subtle mythological pieces of line art, one on either side of the headphones.

Orange amplification said of the sound and EQ character of the Crest Edition headphones: “We’ve taken the flat EQ of top studio monitors and made careful adjustments to the whole audio spectrum, maximising these new 40mm Voice of the World drivers. They give richer, nuanced bass response and ensure good separation between instruments. You’ll hear what the producer intended without muddy, exaggerated bass frequencies or crunched treble, resulting in a highly dynamic and full listening experience.”

The headphones also fold up for easy storage in their included padded case.

The Orange Crest Edition Wireless Headphones list for £95.00/$115/€108. Find out more at orangeamps.com. For more gear news, click here.
