Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder and Billie Joe Armstrong join Lady Gaga’s global coronavirus benefit lineup

The broadcast will see some of the biggest names in music band together to raise money for the WHO.

Some of rock and pop’s biggest names are coming together for a virtual concert, entitled One World: Together at Home.

The broadcast is the result of a partnership between Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation, and will raise money in support of frontline healthcare workers as they continue to battle the coronavirus pandemic.

Among the lineup for the event are Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder and Billie Joe Armstrong, who will be given stripped-back performances from their own homes.

Joining the, will be names such as Lady Gaga (who has also curated the event), Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, Elton John, Finneas, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and even Stevie Wonder.

Hosting the event will be Jimmys Fallon and Kimmel, along with Stephen Colbert.

Traditional networks ABC, NBC, Viacom CBS Networks, iHeartRadio and Canada’s Bell Media will all air the special. It will also be streamed live on the internet via pretty much every streaming service, including Alibaba, Amazon Prime video, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, LiveXLive, Tencent, Tencent Music Entertainment Group, Tidal, TuneIn, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo and YouTube.
