Phoebe Bridgers releases new music video directed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge
The video stars Normal People’s Paul Mescal.

Phoebe Bridgers has released a new music video for her track Savior Complex, taken from her 2020 record Punisher. The video has been directed by British actor, writer and producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge, best known for her acclaimed comedy series Fleabag.

Bridgers has spoken before about her appreciation for Waller-Bridge’s work, and after the pair connected over email during lockdown the feeling turned out to be mutual. The resulting video stars Emmy-Award winning Irish actor Paul Mescal, best known for his appearance on Normal People.
Recently, Phoebe Bridgers was nominated for four Grammy Awards: Best New Artist, Best Alternative Album, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance. The latter, notably, featured an all-female lineup of nominees, for the first time in Grammys history.
