Up-and-coming Thai guitarist Phum Viphurit has just released his new EP, Bangkok Balter Club.

The four-track EP is the indie pop singer-songwriter’s follow-up to his 2017 debut album Manchild, and includes his viral single Lover Boy. The summery tune, which dropped in March 2018, is the fresh-faced guitarist’s claim to fame, racking up more than 45 million views on YouTube and 22 million plays on Spotify.

Earlier this year, Guitar.com caught up with Viphurit to chat about his viral hit, forthcoming releases, his globe-trotting experiences and, of course, his favourite bits of kit. Read the interview here.

Viphurit has also announced dates for his upcoming North America tour, which begins on 12 September at Seattle’s Columbia City Theatre.
