The Pretty Reckless have released the music video for their new song And So It Went, which features an appearance from Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello.

In a statement about the track, lead singer Taylor Momsen said: “The world has been in such a state of civil unrest. And So It Went basically comes from that vision. As a songwriter, I feel like I’m not here to preach. I use music to observe and communicate what I see around me. This song felt like the perfect storm for Tom Morello to join in and rip the sound waves apart with his guitar. It was more than a pleasure having him add his unique and defining sound to the song.”

The track is taken from Death By Rock And Roll, the band’s first album since 2016’s Who You Selling For. It’s also, notably, the first Pretty Reckless album to be made without producer Kato Khandwala. Khandwala died in 2018, following a motorcycle accident.

You can see the video, which also features a cameo from Morello’s Soul Power Strat, below.

You can preorder the full album, which arrives on 12 February, here.
