Queen launch their first official mobile game, Queen: Rock Tour
It features 20 hit songs and 40 unlockable costumes from the band’s history.

Queen have launched their first-ever mobile game, Queen: Rock Tour, available for free on Android and iOS devices.
Queen: Rock Tour is described as a play-along rhythm game, similar to titles such as Tap Tap Revenge. It features 20 hit songs from the band’s catalogue, including We Will Rock You, Radio Ga Ga, and I Want to Break Free. Players will ‘perform’ as Queen – in the classic lineup, with Freddie Mercury – at 10 historic concert venues, with 40 costumes to unlock.
By racking up points, players also stand to unlock fun facts and exclusive images from the official Queen archives.
The game arrives in tandem with a significant date for Queen: they’re celebrating 50 years since enlisting bassist John Deacon back in 1971, completing its classic lineup. The game is available for download now (App Store/Google Play). Watch the trailer for the game below:
This year, Queen had planned to embark on a massive 29-date European tour, but due to COVID-19, opted to postpone the trek to 2022. The rescheduled tour will kick off on 30 May 2022 with a show at the AO Arena in Manchester, UK.
Last month, Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor revealed that the legendary rock band could record new music with current singer Adam Lambert. Speaking to Classic Rock magazine, the pair shared that they tried to record a new song while on tour in Nashville, but couldn’t quite finish it.
“It was a song that we’d tried to adapt that had come from a friend,” May said. “It had the makings of being a great song, but we couldn’t crack it. We couldn’t get there.”
