Slash, Joe Perry and a slew of other rock legends are set to appear in the upcoming documentary film Rock Camp.

The flick chronicles the famed Rock ’N’ Roll Fantasy camp, which for over two decades has given fans the opportunity to learn from and jam with their favourite rock stars. The likes of Slash, Roger Daltrey, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh and many others have, in the past, signed on as counsellors with the American camp.

The camp also gives fans of all ages a chance to bond over a shared passion for rock. “You would have a 15-year-old kid playing drums and a dentist on guitar,” Alice Cooper said in an interview in the trailer for Rock Camp. “If this band were a real band, it would be the weirdest band ever, but cool!”

Rock Camp is set to hit theatres throughout the US on 15 January 2021. International fans, or those who’d rather see it at home, can find the film on demand, beginning 16 February 2021.

The Rock ’N’ Roll Fantasy Camp was started back in 1996 by music producer David Fishof. Each camp runs a course of four days and ends with a big concert that sees fans and rock stars perform altogether.
