Acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela have debuted a new single, Gamma State, available exclusively on Amazon Music. Listen to the track below:
The duo are known for their melodic, yet technical playing, blending nuevo-flamenco with aspects of rock and heavy metal – famously covering Metallica’s Orion and Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven in their signature style. Gamma State headlines the La Guitarra playlist, which showcases a wide variety of Latin guitar players.
The release comes after Amazon announced Amazon Music HD, a high-definition streaming service with a focus on lossless audio – aiming to compete with Spotify Premium and Tidal’s HD offerings.
