Sophie Lloyd shuts down affair rumours with Machine Gun Kelly
The speculation started after rumours began swirling about MGK’s potential breakup with fiancée, Megan Fox

Sophie Lloyd has denied rumours that she is having an affair with Machine Gun Kelly, since becoming his touring guitarist last year.
MGK – whose real name is Colson Baker – made the announcement amid rumours that he has broken up with his fiancée Megan Fox. She has made multiple appearances without her engagement ring and has removed all images of Baker from her Instagram before deleting her profile.
However, the rumours involving Sophie appeared to ignite when, prior to deleting her account, one fan reportedly commented on a video posted by Fox: “He probably got with Sophie”. The actor is said to have replied: “Maybe I got with Sophie”.
As a result, fans are suggesting that Baker has been romantically involved with his guitarist.
In a statement made by Lloyd’s management team, these rumours have now been shut down.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” says her team.
“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”
Lloyd has risen to popularity over the past few years by sharing videos of her guitar skills to TikTok and YouTube. Since then she has joined MGK’s band as a guitarist and recently accompanied him on his Mainstream Sellout Tour.
In November last year, the guitarist announced she will be releasing her first ever studio album, alongside the release of the first single, Do Or Die.
