The Women’s International Music Network (WiMN) have announced that singer-songwriter and bass guitar virtuoso Tal Wilkenfeld will be honoured at the 2020 She Rocks Awards. The ceremony will take place at the House of Blues Anaheim on Friday 17 January 2020.

Wilkenfeld has performed and recorded with an array of rock royalty – including opening for the Who in 2018. Her 2019 album Love Remains demonstrated her impressive technical playing, as well as a knack for emotional, impactful songwriting. It debuted at the top of Billboard’s Heatseeker charts.

This year’s She Rocks Awards also features live music from honorees Gloria Gaynor, Lzzy Hale, Linda Perry, Suzi Quatro, Beatie Wolfe and Wilkenfeld, the evening’s co-host, Mindi Abair, and opening act D_Drive. House band Rock Sugah will also provide music throughout the evening.

The event is open to the public, and don’t let the fact the event takes place in Anaheim in mid-January dissuade you, as a NAMM show pass is not required. Find out more about the awards and purchase tickets for the event at sherocksawards.com.
