Tame Impala, the Australian psychedelic rock band behind Currents and Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, have updated their website with an intriguing video clip.

The grainy footage shows various vintage recording equipment, an oscilloscope, and the group’s core member Kevin Parker hard at work – presumably on the band’s next record.

Tame Impala’s latest full-length release was Currents, released in 2015, showcasing the band’s signature blend of pop, rock and psychedelia. The album was recorded, mixed and produced by Parker – and if this video clip is anything to go by, this will be the case for the next record as well.

The singles Patience and Borderline were released earlier this year – and as NME reports, Parker has said he would be “disappointed” if the band’s next album wasn’t released before the end of 2019.
