Newly formed supergroup The Jaded Hearts Club have released their version of the classic I Put A Spell On You, along with an accompanying music video. Take a look above.

The band is formed by frontmen Miles Kane of The Last Shadow Puppets, Nic Cester of Jet, guitarists Graham Coxon of Blur and Jamie Davis, plus Matt Bellamy of Muse on bass and Sean Payne of The Zutons on drums.

The new single is released ahead of their debut album You’ve Always Been Here, set to arrive 2 October.

I Put A Spell On You, originally recorded by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins in 1956, has been covered extensively by artists such as Nina Simone, Annie Lennox & Jeff Beck, among many others. The appropriately spooky video for The Jaded Heart’s Club version is inspired by 1960s Italian horror, and was shot in Italy by filmmakers OLO.

You’ve Always Been Here will be released on CD, vinyl and digital formats, and is available for pre-order here. Fans who pre-order the album from the official store will also receive first access to tickets for next year’s UK tour.
