The Melvins’ guitarist Buzz Osborne, aka King Buzzo, has announced the release of his second solo album Gift Of Sacrifice. It will be out on 15 May this year, via Ipecac Recordings.

The nine-track album was recorded with his Fantômas bandmate, Trevor Dunn, who will also back Buzzo on tour. Osborne has also released a single from Gift Of Sacrifice, titled Science In Modern America, a menacing folk jam that features Dunn’s masterful bass playing. Listen to it below:

The guitarist has also unveiled dates for an eight-week tour in support of the record. The trek begins on 13 May at The Alibi in Palm Springs, California, taking them all across North America before the ending on 6 July at The Echo in Los Angeles, California.
