GibsonTV has once again expanded its programming, unveiling a series entitled The Conversation. The conceit of the show has two musicians of a similar ilk interview each other, beginning with Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi being interviewed by Judas Priest‘s Richie Faulkner.

The pair discussed how they each went about finding their own sound, and exchanged tales from their respective lengthy touring careers.

Writing on Facebook, Iommi praised Faulkner’s interview skills, saying: “I’d like to thank Richie Faulkner for interviewing me in Nashville for Gibson Guitars! GibsonTV also recently posted an extensive interview with Iommi, where (from a wooden throne) he talked about the start of his career, the accident that almost ended it and the wild times on the road with Black Sabbath.

It has also joined the home concert trend, airing Gibson Homemade music sessions, where artists such as Jared James Nichols and Halestorm perform stripped-back, home-recorded sets.
