Guitarist and YouTuber Andre Antunes has transformed one of televangelist Kenneth Copeland’s sermons on COVID-19 into a heavy metal banger.

The full band metal remix – which Antunes has titled I Demand – features highly syncopated riffage to match the 83-year-old televangelist’s intense sermon.

The song got its name from a number of lines in Copeland’s sermon, including “I demand judgement on you [COVID-19]” and “I demand a vaccination to come immediately!”

Take a listen to the full remix above.

The isn’t the first Copeland sermon that Antunes has given the heavy metal treatment. Back in November, he also covered the televangelist’s sermon on US president-elect Joe Biden, in which Copeland criticised and refused to recognise Biden’s win at the 2020 US Elections.

Take a listen to that below:

Andre Antunes is a Portuguese guitarist, best-known for his electric guitar covers of classical and pop tunes. Last month, he arranged and uploaded a medley paying homage to 10 great Russian composers, from Dmitri Shostakovich to Tchaikovsky.

The guitarist shot to prominence back in 2015 when his rock re-imagining of Daft Punk’s Get Lucky went viral. In the video, Antunes performed the track in the style of 10 of rock’s most iconic guitar players, from Slash to Eddie Van Halen.

Outside of his YouTube channel, Antunes is also a working live musician, performing as a solo artist and alongside his brother in David Antunes & The Midnight Band.
