The Flaming Lips have dropped a trippy video for Giant Baby, a single off the psych-rock band’s latest album, King’s Mouth: Music And Songs.

Directed by frontman Wayne Coyne, the candy-coloured clip stars Fred Armisen, who plays a late-night host, and The Clash’s Mick Jones, seen here in a hooded robe. And if you pay attention, you’ll spot a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo: the Death By Audio Flaming Lips Space Ring pedal. Jones also contributes spoken-word narration to several songs on the record.

The 12-track King’s Mouth: Music And Songs was released earlier this year for Record Store Day. It’s the soundtrack to Coyne’s art installation of the same name – or what he calls “an immersive head trip fantasy experience”.

“The King’s Mouth immersive/child-like qualities are born from the same spark and womb as The Flaming Lips live performances,” Coyne said in a statement of the overall project. “The King’s Mouth adventure was made for humans of all sizes, ages, cultures, and religions.”
