Watch John Mayer and Ed Sheeran duel on PRS Silver Sky guitars

Ed Sheeran has been kicking up a storm with his own signature Sheeran by Lowden acoustic guitars in 2019, but tonight saw him take to the stage with John Mayer in Tokyo and play 2018’s biggest signature guitar, Mayer’s PRS Silver Sky.

Check out the video of the pair playing Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud above, which includes a solo by Mayer. The stars also collaborated on a version of Mayer’s Belief during the concert at the city’s famous Budokan venue. This isn’t the first time Mayer and Sheeran have performed together in public – 2015 saw them unite on The Late Late Show for a version of Sheeran’s Don’t.
