San Diego artist McHank has, following a number of other uploads of ’90s punk sets, posted a two-part video of Fugazi’s February 1999 set at The Edge, in Palo Alto, California. Take a look above.

The set features the core Fugazi lineup of Ian MacKaye, Joe Lally, Brendan Canty and Guy Picciotto, as well as surprisingly great sound quality.

Fugazi started an indefinite hiatus in 2003, and have shown no indication of any plans to reform. However, Ian Mackaye and Joe Lally’s newly formed band Coriky – also featuring Amy Farina of The Warmers and The Evens – released their debut earlier this year.

The hiatus came after 17 years of the band actively touring and recording, during which time they released six studio albums and pioneered a genre-transcending blend of rock, post-hardcore, funk and reggae.

In case you’re still looking for a live-music fix (entirely understandably, at the moment), yesterday, we reported on a recently-surfaced tape of Rage Against The Machine frontman Zach de la Rocha’s early hardcore band performing in 1990 – three years before he formed Rage.
