Whitesnake have announced The Rock Album, a collection bringing together their classic hits in new revisited, remixed and remastered versions. The album is also the first release in the band’s Red, White and Blues trilogy, a series of three collections each with a cohesive musical theme: Love Songs (red), The Rock Album (white) and The Blues Album (blue).

The previously unreleased track from the album, Always The Same, has been dropped alongside a new music video – take a look below.

Whitesnake founder and lead singer David Coverdale says of the record: “All the songs have been revisited, remixed and remastered. Some have been musically embellished where my co-producer Michael McIntyre, my new mixer Christopher Collier and I felt it appropriate or necessary to bring out the best in these songs.”
