Press Release
Lâg, the French Instrument company that custom crafts guitars acclaimed for both their sound and beauty, introduces new offerings within its classic Occitania line at NAMM 2015.
The Occitania Pack (OC44/ OC442/ OCC443); even at the entry level, Lâg is concerned with every detail. The Sapele back and sides and Spruce top of the Tramontane 44 is adorned with a subtle wood binding that prevents it from looking ordinary. Though constructed with total simplicity, the 44 Series models remain graceful and sound great. With the included gig bag, strap, and picks, the Tramontane 44 Pack ensures that beginners are well taken care of. Available in standard, 3/4, and 1/2 sizes.

The OC662 (1/2 size) is designed with beginning players in mind, the 66 series is a remarkably easy to play and maintain nylon string classical guitar, resulting in a satisfying playing experience, regardless of experience. While the OC663 boasts the same qualities in a ¾ size.

The Occitania 80 is enhanced with a solid Spruce top and African Sapele back and sides finished in Old Port Mahogany, the 80 series is an excellent choice for those who love the sound of classical guitar, but can appreciate modern design. The 80CE features a cutaway body style and a DirectLâg Plus electronics system.

A true hybrid model, the Occitania Country guitar takes inspiration from both the Occitania and Tramontane models. Best described as a “folk nylon” guitar, this instrument is ideal for the traditional acoustic guitar player who is transitioning into the nylon world. The Nylon Western features a solid Western Red Cedar top, African Sapele back & sides, and a satin finish.
