Whether its sourcing rare instruments for Joe Bonamassa, or providing vintage guitars for movies such as Back To The Future and This Is Spinal Tap, Norman’s Rare Guitars has become one of the most famous and respected guitar stores on the planet.

Rock stars and celebrities make the pilgrimage to Norman Harris’s store in Tarzana, California because his inventory contains a cornucopia of gorgeous vintage guitars, but what if you can’t make the trip to the San Fernando Valley?

Well, thanks to a partnership with Reverb.com, you can now browse the full inventory of Norman’s Rare Guitars from the comfort of your own home. While Norman’s has had a Reverb store since 2014, this is the first time that you’ve actually been able to browse and buy instruments – and it’s worth the wait.

Among the 650+ instruments that have been added to the store in the last week you’ll find myriad 50s Fenders and Gibsons, 60s pawn shop curios, limited edition Custom Shop instruments and guitars with artist provenance – it might be the most droolsome store on the whole of Reverb.

There’s only one drawback – at the moment Norman’s is only selling guitars in the USA, so for the time being international visitors will have to simply browse and dream!

To celebrate the occasion, Norman Harris sat down with Reverb to tell the stories of five of the amazing vintage instruments for sale in his store – check out the video below, and head over to the Norman’s Rare Guitars Reverb Store to take a closer look at what’s on offer.
