The North East Guitar Show returns for 2019

For 2019, The North East Guitar Show returns to the superb, purpose-built event complex at Rainton Meadows Arena, Mercantile Rd, Houghton-le-Spring DH4 5PH, and will be on Sunday 10th March from 10am to 4.00pm.

With space for more than 100 dealers at the show, it represents a wonderful opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second-hand guitars, amps and more. There will also be bargains and special show deals, alongside free appraisals of instruments and amps.

If that wasn’t enough, there will also be bands, duos and solo performers all day in the live music pavilion.

Back by popular demand after his astonishing performance in 2018, the amazing Aziz Ibrahim (Stone Roses, Simply Red, Asia, Paul Weller) will be playing the ‘Digital Asian Blues’ interpreting the blues through his DesiGuitR style. 

Vintage Guitars will also showcase contemporary acoustic based folk/rock from The Carrie Martin Band.

The North East’s own award-winning sensation, The Mitch Laddie Band will present their unique brand of blues/rock, plus there’ll be a live performance demo of the new Bose S1 Pro multi-position PA system along with the all new T4S and T8S mixers.

Many major retailers and distributors will be attending together with a host of second-hand and vintage dealers, parts suppliers and luthiers.

Registration is open to any business with guitar-related products including retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors and dealers.

Public admission is £6.
