PRS unveils new limited run of SE Bernie Marsden
Only 300 models of the Whitesnake man’s signature guitar are available.
PRS is bringing back the popular SE Bernie Marsden guitar for another limited run.
Only 300 of the single-cutaway six-strings are available, in three finishes: Vintage Sunburst, Dark Cherry Sunburst and Tobacco Sunburst. The latter is a brand-new color. Additionally, the 2018 run features satin-finished necks, which also appeared in last year’s edition.
Otherwise, the 2018 version of the former Whitesnake guitarist’s signature instrument is identical to its predecessors. It has a flame maple veneer top, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, and a pair of PAF-style SE245 humbuckers.
Unfortunately, the guitar is only available in Europe.
