Sam Fender has released The Borders, the final single to land from his debut studio album, Hypersonic Missiles.
In comparison to the previously released title track and Will We Talk, The Borders is an emotionally-charged, Killers-esque tune. It relays the experiences of two best friends who were joined at the hip, but eventually went their separate ways.
Fender’s new album comes on the back of a landmark year for the 23-year-old singer-songwriter, who bested Lewis Capaldi and Mahalia at the 2019 Brits to win the prestigious Critics’ Choice Award.
Hypersonic Missiles arrives 13 September. Listen to The Borders above.
