Sire has unveiled the all-new Larry Carlton Collection, a series of affordable electric guitars named after the jazz legend. The collection comprises three electric guitar models: the H7, S-Series and L7.

Larry Carlton H7

The H7 is a hollow-body double-cutaway guitar that’s styled after Carlton’s preferred archtop design and comes loaded with a pair of humbucking pickups tuned to his preferences. The guitar features a maple laminate body paired with a flame maple top and an ebony fingerboard.

Price: £499

Larry Carlton S-Series

The S-series is reminiscent of Strat-style guitars along with a ‘super Strat’ pickup configuration consisting of a humbucker and two single coils. The guitar’s roasted maple neck is satin-finished and features rolled fingerboard edges for player comfort, while locking tuners help the guitar remain in tune even after vigorous tremolo bridge work.

Price: £449 and £499 (for flame maple top S-Series guitars)

Larry Carlton L7

Rounding out the collection is the singlecut L7, which features a mahogany body paired with a flame maple top. The guitar also features a set mahogany neck and an ebony fingerboard. Like the H7, all the electronics of the L7 series are voiced to suit Carlton’s preferences.

Price: £449
