Slipknot have announced another Knotfest tour for the summer, dubbed the Knotfest Roadshow running through North America. A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange have been confirmed as opening acts. Tickets will go on sale 7 February at 10am local time.

The North American summer tour will kick off in New York on 30 May and wrap up in Texas on 25 June. “We set a precedent last year — Knotfest is a showcase where you never know what to expect,” Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor said in a statement. “This year is no exception. The bands we have represent all corners of our musical world, just like we do.”

Slipknot are currently touring in support of their recent album, We Are Not Your Kind, which was voted as the top metal album of 2019 by Rolling Stone. Their next stop is scheduled at Poland’s Atlas Arena on 6 February before wrapping up in the Philippines on 29 March. The band will then resume their trek with two festival performances at Sonic Rock Festival (16 May) and Rocklahoma (23 May) at Ohio and Oklahoma, respectively.

The band also recently announced that they would be bringing their Knotfest tour to the UK for the first time, taking place on 22 August 2020 at the Milton Keynes National Bowl. While the full lineup for the festival has yet to be confirmed, the UK will be the fifth country the festival has expanded to, ever since its beginnings in Iowa, USA back in 2012.
