Slipknot have capped off their 2019 run with a new music video for their single Nero Forte, capping off their 2019 run.

The new video was directed by Slipknot founding member M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan and produced by Nic Neary. Crahan hinted at his involvement in the video for Nero Forte back in October on Twitter, saying that the band were “trying something new”. “Usually in Slipknot, things get crazy quickly and we start losing time because of [filming] space. So we brought the space in a lot tighter and I think this is gonna work,” Crahan said.

Nero Forte is the fifth track from Slipknot’s sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind, which was released in August 2019.

The band also announced the details for their 2020 tour of Europe and Asia. It will kick-off on 14 January at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, and continue with stops in major cities like London, Paris, Berlin and Tokyo.

Slipknot’s current final 2020 performance is scheduled to take place on 22 August at Knotfest UK in Milton Keynes, UK, following the band’s announcement that they would be bringing their signature festival to the UK for the first time ever.
