Solar unveils premium, limited-edition model
Besides its robust features, the S1.6ET LTD will draw eyeballs with its stunning looks.
Solar Guitars has been keeping busy this year. Over the last few months, Ola Englund’s company has announced ten new guitars—you can check them out here, here and here—and we now have another one: the S1.6ET LTD.
The limited-edition axe takes after Solar’s Type S models, and can be thought of as the sibling to the S1.6ETQ LTD—they’re pretty much spec’ed identically save their finishes. The S1.6ET LTD has a flamed maple top, in a Flame Solar Burst Matte finish, on a mahogany body, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fretboard.
And like the S1.6ETQ LTD, this new guitar is loaded with Duncan Solar HB114 humbuckers that are loud, articulate and defined enough for all types of metal and hard rock. Grover locking tuners, an EverTune bridge and Luminlay fretboard side dots are the other premium appointments on the S1.6ET LTD.
