Blackstar’s award-winning HT Club 40, has established itself as the go-to amplifier for the working musician thanks to its full palette of bold cleans, dynamic crunch, and raw, high gain overdrive, all of which is packed into a compact 1 x 12 combo format. At Summer NAMM 2016 Blackstar unveils a stunning special edition HT Club 40 DELUXE. The DELUXE is covered in sleek black basket weave tolex with cream piping and black Artisan fret for a boutique feel and a stylish metal badge marking it as the DELUXE edition amplifier. The HT Club 40 DELUXE comes loaded with the highly-acclaimed Celestion A-Type speaker, which is a perfect match for the robust tube tone of the Club 40.

“It’s all about the speaker with this amp. The Celestion A-Type adds depth and body to the tone of the amp making it very rich and balanced,” explains Brian Piccolo, Director of Guitar Brands for Korg USA Inc./ Blackstar USA. “The highs are a bit sweeter and the lows are fuller. The speaker even adds a bit more headroom allowing the amp’s true tone to shine through on the clean channels and also enhances the low-end response and definition on the overdrive channel. The cosmetic tweaks – – the basket weave tolex, black fret cloth and white piping – – are very sharp and elegant looking,” added Piccolo.

Equipped with two channels and four footswitchable modes, this HT Club 40 DELUXE is the ideal gigging tube amp for club sized venues. Each channel features an independent Voice switch that greatly enhances this amp’s tonal versatility. The 40 Watt, EL34 driven power amp has amazing punch and dynamics that easily cut through in any band situation. The three-band EQ is augmented by the Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) and additional features like digital reverb, emulated output and effects loop round out this impressive amplifier.

The HT Club 40 DELUXE will be available in August for $699.99. www.blackstaramps.com
