NAMM 2020: VOX has announced that it will be unveiling the Cambridge50, a new modelling amp for Winter NAMM 2020.

Check out a quick overview here:

The 50-watt VOX Cambridge50 sports a simple, user-friendly design and features 11 amp models and eight built-in effects, including various modulation options and delay/reverb. A built-in tuner increases the versatility of the Cambridge50, as do the AUX input, USB audio interface, and headphone/line output with cabinet simulator.

Powering the Cambridge50 is VOX’s Virtual Element Technology coupled with a Nutube driving the preamp section for dynamic tube-like response. The amp’s open-back cabinet houses a custom VOX-voiced Celestion 12-inch speaker that delivers crisp tones along with greater resonance.

Users can store and recall their favourite settings through the Cambridge50’s preset mode. Selecting the amp’s manual mode allows the position of the physical knobs to take precedence, much like a conventional amp. The Cambridge50 can also be used to accommodate acoustic-electric guitars and keyboards through the use of its LINE model.

The VOX Cambridge50 will be available in January for $299.99. For more information, click here.
