NAMM 2020: Vox has announced the V847-C, the brand’s latest signature wah pedal that is the result of a collaboration with Japanese guitarist Char.

The V847-C has been tweaked to deliver an improved frequency sweep while simultaneously putting more focus on the lows. The circuitry has also been updated to provide a boost in gain along with an adjustment to the wah’s Q-value for a more stable sound. The V847-C now boasts a warmer and more powerful tone than that of the regular V847, due to an adjustment of the wah’s input impedance.

Other hardware features include improved rubber feet for a greater tactile sensation whilst using the V847-C, and true-bypass switching for guitar signal preservation. The V847-C is also made in Japan, and the bottom plate is adorned with traditional Japanese artwork.

Pricing and availability of the Vox V847-C is TBC, but we expect to learn more at NAMM 2020. For more information, click here.
