The Emissary Parallel Boost is a simple, yet versatile, boost pedal designed to do one thing: to give your tone a “sinus-clearing experience,” according to Walrus Audio.

It has two boost circuits running in parallel to achieve that. One is a clean, JFET-style boost that amps up the higher frequencies, while the other is a mid-boost that targets your choice of either the 800Hz or 1kHz band. Each circuit has its own level knob, meaning you can dial in one or the other—or a blend of both. And a momentary function on the footswitch lets you engage the Emissary temporarily.

In Walrus’ own words, the Emissary is built to “make leads stand out, slides sing, fingerpicking come to life and to push tube amps into great natural breakup.”

The Emissary Parallel Boost lists for $169, and will start shipping on June 18. For more info, check out walrusaudio.com.
