Weezer recently covered Blink-182’s iconic pop punk anthem “All The Small Things” at Chicago’s Riot Fest, where they were filling in for the trio who’d been sidelined due to Travis Barker’s medical woes.

In a statement via Twitter earlier this month, Blink-182 announced that Barker’s condition still made it too risky for him to perform, leading to the decision to axe the mini-fall tour they had planned—including a headliner spot at Riot Fest.

Like the true professionals they are, Weezer paid homage to their sidelined comrades with a punchy cover of “All the Small Things.” Young the Giant, who played their set before Rivers Cuomo and company, also covered the same song, but that wasn’t going to stop the Californian rockers.

“But we’re gonna do it anyway, because you can never have too much Blink in your life,” the Weezer frontman exclaimed. “Let’s see what it sounds like Weezer-style.”

During the set, they also performed their distinctive covers of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid,” The Turtles’ “Happy Together,” a-ha’s “Take on Me” and Africa’s “Toto”—which has gone viral since its May release.
